Service Description

So you think you can fish? This 10 Hour Private Fishing Charter might be just what you need to show off your angling prowess. We invite you to come onto the TradeWinds and show us what you got! (This trip is popular with highly competitive groups, so let us know if you have one or more pots going so we can help your group keep track of who's winning!) You will begin by trolling on your way to your first fishing spot, during your return toward shore, and in between spots (when time allows between drops). To start your day, your main focus will be bottom-fishing, but as the day progresses, we often switch to primarily trolling efforts if you catch your limit of your primary target or if the trolling action happens to be red-hot. On this trip, you can expect to be targeting a large variety of species, based on season and availability. For trolling, we will be tracking down premium top-water fish like King Mackerel, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Bonita, and more. Once we begin sending down our lines, we will be aiming for whatever premium species are in season- probably one or more of the many types of Grouper or the elite Red Snapper. You will likely also bring in some of the following: Vermillion Snapper (Mingo), White Snapper, Black Snapper, and Porgys. And who knows what else we might stumble upon?! The base price of this fishing trip covers our passenger minimum, up to the first 8 passengers. Each passenger after the 8th is an additional $300. The deposit is only 10% of the base price, and the final balance will be collected on the day of departure. Thank you for your interest in this booking, please let us know if you have any questions. No fees apply for payments made with cash/business check. Please remember- deckhands humbly work hard for and graciously accept tips. Customary gratuity is 20% of trip price and can be accepted before or after your trip. Thank you for your generosity!

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 7 days before your scheduled trip for a full refund or reaccommodation. For cancellations/reschedules within 7 days, the deposit will be forfeited. Exceptions: in the unlikely event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, mechanical difficulties, or operational needs, a full refund will be provided. If any of the above situations arise and result in a reschedule, no penalties will be incurred by the customer, including loss of deposit due to a subsequent cancellation.
